The Post Philadelphia Folk Fester’s Fest (PPFFF) was a major highlight in Oct. We met Rock 70’s Rock Legend Singer Andy Pratt and helped to raise some much needed cash for the Sierra Club. The PPFFF is held each year in the backyard of an historic 200 year old house once frequented by the likes of George Washington and Thomas Jefferson in Rebel Hill, PA. We caught the rebelious spirit of the ghosts of our founding fathers for a rip roarin’ set. Multiple power outages didn’t stop the Philly crowd from rockin’ with us. Thanks for the historic night and great chow!
The Urban H2O concert in Yonkers was a real hoot also, as we got to reunite with some of our Hudson Valley pals and meet some new aquatic admirers. Thanks so much to Mark Miller of Spuyten Duyvil for having us out the Beczak Environmental Education Center.
We’ll be closing out the month with a great run of New England shows though performing with our good pals Three Tall Pines at the renowned Lizard Lounge in Cambridge, MA. They’re one of the top, up-and-coming bluegrass bands on the scene, and we always have a blast when we get together with them.
Finally, we’ll be at the Unity College Centre for the Performing Arts, a really wonderful intimate theater with some of the warment acoustics we’ve ever heard. Spread the word to your New England brethren!
We’re working on a new batch of tunes that brings together all of our collective influences better than anything we’ve ever done. We can’t wait to hit you with these songs, and we’ll be in the studio before too long to put them to tape (or hard drive? or vinyl?…).

It’s the candy man, It’s the candy man”
