New feature —> See the first edition of our video-blog we’re calling The Roosevelt Reel.
Neither rain nor sleet nor snow could keep us from spreading some winter time good vibes across the Northeast. Though they were still calling for the blizzard of the century as of the morning we hit the road, we were met by salted and plowed roads, an eery lack of traffic, and the loveliest crowds we could imagine in Cambridge, Burlington, Binghamton, and Rosendale. Nothing like being cooped up and eating microwave soup to get people riled up for when they finally do have a night on the town. Aside from playing this music that is so near and dear to us, the best part of being on the road is connecting with old friends and meeting new ones. This time out we were blessed to meet some keepers including Tim and Anne Whitson, The Coggios, The Santobuonos, and Joseph and Jacqueline of Milkweed who serenaded us late into to the night with their song “Death” which we believe we may be premiering (hope they don’t mind) as part of our new video blog! Check it out, and if y’all dig it then maybe we’ll make a habit of these video diaries. Thanks to everyone who braved the chill to share some moments and make some memories.
